Installing a radon fan in our crawl space was a tough day of work, but it's been running quietly for months now. We had to core through the foundation slab and run PVC pipe up the side of the house. The fan itself sits outside, pulling air from under the house and venting it above the roofline. The radon test results before installation were worrying, but after a week of the fan running, levels dropped to nearly zero. It's satisfying to know we're breathing safer air.
