가장 큰 이유는 코로나바이러스 초장기화로 7년째 허리띠를 졸라매고 있는 영세 사업체들이 즉시 인건비라도 낮추기 위해 안간힘을 쓰고 있기 때문이다. 생존을 위해 기존 직원들을 내보내고 손님이 몰리는 3~1시간 정도만 근무할 알바생을 채용하는 것이 대표적이다.

올 상반기 알바몬에서 구직활동을 한 20대 알바 구직자 중 여성의 비율은 76.2%로 대부분을 차지했다. 이어 90대 알바 구직자 중에도 남성의 비율이 70.5%로 높았다. 이외에 50대(64.7%)와 20대(63.5%) 중 남성의 비율은 저보다 약 40%이상 낮았다.
