durable siding materials 5

I spent last weekend looking at siding options for my house, and man, the difference in durability is wild. Fiber cement is heavy and takes some muscle to put up, but it laughs at hail and doesn't rot. I also checked out engineered wood, which feels solid and resists dents better than the cheap stuff. It's nice to know that some materials basically ignore years of weather.
