When the air in my apartment started feeling a bit stale, I realized the air cleaner needed some attention. I changed the pre-filter, wiped down the HEPA filter grille, and vacuumed out the dust from the intake vent. It took maybe 15 minutes, and now the machine runs quieter and the air smells noticeably fresher.
